Introduction
The single plate screen changer comprises a main body, a slide plate (fitted with 2 screens), and a hydraulic station, together forming a polymer filtration system. During screen changing, the hydraulic station drives the slide plate to push the contaminated screen out of the melt flow for filter mesh replacement, while the other screen simultaneously moves into the melt flow—enabling non-stop screen changing.
Our single plate screen changer is equipped with an accumulator. When changing screens, the accumulator can instantly release all its stored kinetic energy to switch the screens rapidly. This minimizes pressure fluctuations, ensuring no impact on product quality.

We offer three variants of the single plate screen changer: round, square, and two-piece designs.

Advantages of the Single Plate Screen Changer:

1. Non-stop screen changing: Eliminates the need for machine shutdown during screen changing, reducing production interruptions and boosting output.

Disadvantages of single plate screen changers:​
Compared with double filter barrel screen changers and netless screen changers, its filtration area is much smaller. As a result, under the same output, it requires much more frequent screen changes. Additionally, the working pressure of the extruder needs to be reduced when changing the screen.
